People keep asking us to make baby socks, so here you go: Allow us to introduce our new pro-skid socks for babies.
Yes, you read that right: Pro-skid socks!
No, not anti-skid socks or gripper socks, but slippy-slidey, skiddy socks.
Why on earth would we do this??
It’s quite simple, really:
Because our children’s socks are knitted with so much care and made of the highest quality Oeko-tex certified materials, like mulesing-free merino wool and partially compostable polyamide, we don’t want to gunk them up and coat them with silicone.
We are not convinced that anti-skid socks are actually good for kids. Children need to slide around, practice their moves, and sometimes lose their balance. And guess what: Pro-skid socks are good for all that and more!
The socks are made of a wonderful merino wool blend combined with partially biodegradable polyamide and feature a plushy cushioned sole and a practical bright-red heel tag.

For one simple reason: Our company recently turned 4 ¾ years old! That seemed like a good enough reason to celebrate with a brand-new birthday sock. Originally, they were intended as a thank-you gift for everyone who has helped us get to where we are today, but then people were so enthusiastic about the material and design that we decided to offer them in our online shop as well.
You have to be a little crazy to start up a small sock knitting company in the heart of Europe. But having full order books after just four years is even crazier.

Leon is 10 years old and loves to draw. To keep him from getting too bored during the summer break, we asked him to design a new style of children’s socks for us. Leon thought about it for moment, then said, “I have an idea.” We were sitting right next to him: It only took him about a minute to create a finished drawing on the tablet and send it to us by email. The subject line of his email read: “Leon’s super-duper epic stripy socks.” We knew right away – these socks had to happen. It took Günter, our knitting engineer, a week of experimenting before he was able to knit a pattern that looked as much as possible like Leon’s design – and he did a great job. As soon as the first prototype was finished, strange things started happening: Adults who saw the brightly striped socks were asking if they would be available in larger sizes, too… So we are now knitting Leon’s super-duper epic stripy socks for both kids and grown-ups.
