Why 4 ¾ ?
For one simple reason: Our company recently turned 4 ¾ years old! years old. Reason enough to celebrate properly and knit a pretty anniversary sock. It was actually only intended as a thank you to all those who have helped us so incredibly during this time. And because the feedback on the material and pattern was so enthusiastic, they are now also available in the online store. Starting a small sock knitting business in the middle of Europe is pretty crazy. But having full order books after four years is even crazier. Our merino wool plus12socks like to be washed inside out, and they hate getting snagged on scratchy zippers and jean rivets in the washing machine. Our recommendation: Wash socks in a mesh laundry bag. After washing, stretch gently into shape and hang to dry.
